How Increased Confidence Helped One Business Woman Achieve Her Dreams

In today's society women are told over and over again "You can have it all". And you can; but you might just need a little help along the way. From a very early age, females are discouraged from asking for help and it can set us up for defeat in later years. Women business owners, in particular, can fall into the trap of thinking "I don't need any help, I can do this alone". Knowing when you could use a little assistance is an important part of being a success both in life and in the business world.
Katherine had been struggling for months to increase her client base and, of course, to make more sales. After taking a personal inventory, she realized she was intimidated by the mere prospect of 'selling'; she was in fact 'shy'. Approaching new people was scary and she sometimes let her anxiety get the best of her. Katherine realized her business would never grow if she did not gain confidence in her ability to sell. A friend had recently told her about success coaching and she decided to give it a try.
As Katherine committed herself to the process of success coaching, she immediately began to see results. Through role-playing exercises and other techniques her confidence in her selling abilities grew. She no longer felt a knot in her stomach every time she approached a potential customer; instead she was excited, enthusiastic and completely confident.
Thanks to success coaching, Katherine's business is on the fast-track and she is even considering opening another branch in the near future. As a woman business owner she was pleased to see how her growth influenced others to take a leap of faith and to start their own businesses.
Without success coaching, this talented woman may have failed at achieving the dream she had held for so many years. By taking a good look in the mirror, admitting her shortcomings (we all have them) and asking for help, she is now living her dream.
Mentors and success coaches have been important in the lives of many mega-successful women. As the saying goes "No man is an island"; as it turns out, no woman is either.
