Relationship Advice For Women Part 2 - Sarah Palin and the Golden Rule

Do you feel like your love life is not all it could be? I would like to offer some relationship advice to women that I guarantee will give you positive results with men. These "secrets" are not some sort of trickery or manipulation. These are fundamental facts of human nature that have been mentioned in the Bible and thousands of other best-selling books.
If there must be a catch, this is it: you must be willing to take responsibility for the changes. Gandhi once said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." Though it would be wonderful for everyone if your man would take some initiative to build a loving and fulfilling relationship, you can not expect that to happen. If you expect it to happen and it doesn't, won't that leave you frustrated and unhappier? My advise to women and men, relationship or otherwise, is to focus on what YOU can change and leave the rest to fall into place as it may. You can lead the changes in your relationship you desire by setting the best examples.
In a previous article, my relationship advice to women was to first be positive and, secondly, tell men what you need...repeatedly. Our attitudes set the stage for our interaction with others. If we choose a positive attitude, those around us will respond positively. Men do not communicate through mental telepathy and will never read you mind, no matter how much they love you. Men need to be told how you feel, what you want, etc. Just as importantly, men need to be told repeatedly, again, no matter how much they love you. That is just one of many weaknesses us men have, so deal with it rather than lose the fight against nature.
Ok, here is where part 2 of relationship advice for women finally begins. If you want a man to respond positively to you with love and fulfill your needs, then I recommend you:
1. Be Confident - confidence is contagious and your confidence will inspire the men in your lives. Who hasn't seen the effect Governor Sarah Palin has had recently? She is tremendously confident though she is not arrogant. Confident women are not whiny women, and men want to share their time and energy with a woman with a "can-do" attitude.
2. Speak Pleasantly - men will tune-in to what you are saying when you speak with a pleasant, undemanding tone. How would you respond if someone snapped at you with sharp demands or condescendingly? Not very positively I imagine. Oftentimes, when men seem like they are tuning women out the most, it has more to do with the tone and how a message is delivered than the message itself. Here's a quick example: "Goodness! How many times do I have to tell you to...?" or "Honey, would you mind helping me by...?" Which one would you prefer?
Trust me, men want to be as happy as you do. Some times we need a good woman's help. My relationship advice to women is to take responsibility for your happiness and make some changes with how you handle men. Be positive, be confident, tell us what you want...repeatedly, and speak to men as you would like to be spoken to. It seems easy enough and you will be surprised by how your man will respond. I look forward to sharing more relationship advice tips for women over the next couple of days to help women have the loving, happy and sharing relationships they desire.
